Poveste:
Serialul are ca baza binecunoscutele povesti ale fratilor Grimm si il are in prim plan pe detectivul din Portland Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), care a vazut pana acum niste scene terifiante ale crimelor, dar nimic nu-l pregateste pentru ciudatele viziuni pe care incepe sa le aiba: oameni obisnuiti se transforma pentru cateva momente in monstri hidosi. O vizita de la singura lui ruda in viata ii dezvaluie adevarul. Nick a mostenit puterea de a vedea creaturi supernaturale, si fiind un "Grimm" responsabilitatea sa este sa mentina echilibrul intre omenire si creaturile mitologice. Un "Lup mare si rau" reformat, devine cel mai mare aliat si confident al sau. Nu dureaza mult pana ce munca sa de politist il duce pe Nick la criminali despre care pana atunci crezuse ca exista numai in cartile cu povesti pentu copii.
